What’s the FCSA?

The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) is an independent trade body, founded in 2008, with the objective of setting the compliance and ethical benchmark for service providers and to act as a voice for the professional freelance and contractor industry. All members share the same dedication to utmost compliance, professional standards and shaping the future of the industry for the better.

What’s the APSCo?

The Association of Professional Staffing Companies is a trade body dedicated to representing the interests of the UK Professional Staffing industry. Through recognising, supporting and promoting excellence within the Professional Recruitment market, APSCo provides client organisations, candidates and government with a recognised stamp of quality assurance. APSCo spend a lot of time and energy lobbying government on industry issues and contributing toward the formulation of policy at the top level.

Fast Track 100 listing

The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 is an annual league table that ranks Britain’s 100 fastest growing private companies. Based on three years turnover, Liquid Friday has featured in this prestigious list for both 2011 (ranked 22) and 2012 (ranked 31). Liquid Friday Directors Phillip Venn and Alex Baines got to attend two dinners hosted by the founder of Virgin, Richard Branson, alongside other influential business leaders.

Apprentice Employer of The Year

There’s no doubt about it, having the right people with the right skills and attitude working in the right places is the key to our success. One of the ways we bring new employees into the business is through our successful Apprenticeship program, for which we have won ‘Apprentice Employer of the Year’ for 2012, 2013 and 2014 awarded by Fareport Training. We’ve been shortlisted at the National Apprenticeship Awards too.

Almost all of our Apprentices go on to be permanent members of the team after their two year training period.


We’ve got a number of local and national charities that we support through special days, fancy dress and bake sales to football matches, industry events and auctions.

Charities that we’ve contributed to recently include: Rowans Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support, Brain Tumour Research, Breast Cancer Campaign and the Movember Trust.
