If you are planning on working Self Employed and you are not under the Supervision, Direction or Control of anyone; then our industry leading Self Employed CIS service is for you. It’s really easy to work with Liquid Friday as a sub-contractor; we have the relationships you need to make sure you get paid on time, every time.

Getting set up with us is quick and simple. If you’ve got an email address then everything can be done online, without the need to print anything out. Don’t worry if you haven’t got an email address as we can post out anything you need, if that’s easier.

Do you get frustrated having to change companies for every contract? Well, we’ve got some good news for you. We have relationships with more than 600 agencies in the UK, meaning that you can work on your assignment with Liquid Friday regardless of the agency you find the work through. If we don’t work with a particular agency we’ll get in touch and try to start working with them as a new supplier.

Benefits of Liquid CIS

Tax and National Insurance Contributions (NICs)

We calculate and deduct the right amount of tax every time you get paid. This means that if your only income is from Liquid Friday it is likely you will get a rebate when you complete your self-assessment tax return and all of your payments to HMRC will be up to date.

We can also help you with NIC’s, Liquid Friday will be able to advise you on your likely NIC liability and give you more information on how to pay your Class 2 National Insurance.

Minimal admin

An important part of our job is to know how each of our agency clients work and being able to fit in with their way of doing things. We raise invoices, collect timesheets, chase payments and do everything we can to make life as easy possible for our sub-contractors. This means everything you need to get paid will be handled by us.


Once you’re fully registered as a sub-contractor of Liquid Friday you’re covered with all the necessary insurances that you’ll need to work with any clients. These include professional indemnity, public liability insurance and an optional personal accident cover.

Flat Rate VAT

Whilst working with Liquid Friday you can also benefit from joining the Flat Rate VAT scheme. The Flat Rate VAT Scheme will give you access to even more money with no effort from you. It’s win, win. We have experts that can help you with this.


As all of our sub-contractors are important to us, Liquid Friday has negotiated a rock bottom price for all of sub-contractors Self-Assessment Tax Returns. This will give you access to a fully qualified accountant who will walk you through the Tax Return process making sure you always pay the right tax and claim the right expenses.
